What is AgentDex?
A small directory of personal AI agent platforms and MCP servers, plus helpers for setting them up. It's independent and not affiliated with any company listed.
How do listings get chosen?
We add something only after reading about it on an official page, repo, or docs site. Every card links to that source and shows the date we checked it. We'd rather list fewer things than list things we can't back up. We don't take payment for listings.
Why isn't [some tool] listed?
Either we haven't checked it yet, or we couldn't confirm it from a public source. Suggest it and include a link.
What's free and what's paid?
Free: the whole directory, the MCP helpers and snippets, the starter prompts, and the llms.txt and index.json files. Paid: the members guide ($9 one-time), with top picks, stacks, more prompts, setup recipes, and a new-and-notable list. Details.
How do I get into the members guide after paying?
Checkout runs through Stripe. When it's done, you're sent to a private link for the guide. Bookmark it. If you lose it, contact us with your purchase details.
What's your refund policy?
Placeholder (TODO): we haven't settled our refund policy yet. We'll post it here before we promote the members guide. Until then, contact us about any problem.
Are the MCP snippets safe to paste?
They're derived from each app's documented config format and each server's own docs, and we label them that way. Check both sources, and only connect servers you trust. Reference servers are learning examples, not production tools.
Where's the Grok Bot stuff?
We keep it light here. For depth, see Grokbot Tools. It and AgentDex are independent sites, not affiliated with xAI.
